Dorsey is President of Medallion Pool Inc., a national design and engineering firm. He obtained his BS in Civil Engineering at NC State and is a registered engineer. Dorsey began his watershape career in 2008. His very first large residential design/build project, completed before his 2 year anniversary won national attention. It was featured on the cover of Aqua Magazine, won Master Pools Guild International Grand Award runner-up, and was the only luxury project featured in the book SWIM by Lynn Sherr of ABC’s 20/20. Dorsey has continued to further distinguish his profile by designing and building some of the industries most awarded, innovative and complex projects. He and his firm is unique in that they have the expertise to design and build the entire project including structures and complete structural design. Dorsey is passionate about advancing the watershape industry through developing and patenting devices to help builders and helping to elevate other industry professionals through his involvement with the Master Pools Guild and GENESIS®.
