Joan Roca Master Pool Designs

Joan Roca was born in Barcelona, Spain, in 1958, and moved to Costa Rica in 1973. He started in the swimming pool industry in 1975. Roca earned his Industrial Engineering degree in 1984. Member of the APSP (former NSPI) since 1982. Certified Pool Operator by NSPF in 1986 and Certified Pool Instructor in 1988. In the ensuing years, he continued his education through more than 200 industry seminars and educational programs.

In 2003 he started in Genesis3 Design Group, and became Platinum Member and Professional Watershape Designer SWD in 2005. At 2006 Roca was certified as a CBP Certified Building Professional by APSP. Pool & Spa News honored Joan Roca as a Master Pool Designer in 2008, 2014 & 2018. In 2013 he obtained a Masters degree in INCAE Business School. Currently his head office is in Jacksonville, Florida, with his signature of JOAN ROCA MASTER POOL DESIGNER. Joan Roca's work has been internationally recognized and awarded on many occasions. His creativity has been published around the world showing his work in several library books and up to date in 13 front covers of prestigious magazines such as LUXURY POOLS, AQUA, WATERSHAPES, POOL & SPA NEWS.
